FB became a lifeline.

VOA also reinvented its distribution strategy to enhance mobile and digital platforms with daily Facebook broadcasts of its radio shows with live audience engagement. VOA Khmer’s robust coverage of the June 2017 local election through its Facebook page, which ranks number one in Cambodia, increased its weekly video views from 1 million to 4.3 million.
